What Not to Wear Now

I wore a plaid skirt to work today.

My co-worker Debbie said "Cute skirt. You look like a school girl."

I laughed.

She said, "No, I mean in a good way." She is very nice. So I think she meant it as a complement. However, I’m not sure that there is a good way to look "like a school girl" when you are over 40. I think the skirt's going to Goodwill.
