We Rock, We Rock, We Rock --- Really? Now, Really?

Just watched the Joan Jett movie on her genesis as a rocker, The Runaways. They should have just named the movie And Then There Was Joan. Might have felt a little more honest as a movie.

Anyway, it brings to mind a great travesty in the world today. There should be a law that prevents teen pop bands from using the word "Rock" as in "Rock and Roll," "Rocking the House," etc.

Every time I hear the Jonas Brothers sing, "We rock, We rock, We rock," I think to myself: No, no you don't, you really don't.

Now Joan Jett, she rocked. She put another dime in the jukebox, baby. But that was then.

I wonder how "We pop, We pop, We pop" would sound as lyrics?
