Love is in the Air at the Ballet

We attended the Valentine's Day performance of the Cincinnati Ballet's Cinderella. It was fantastic, funny and beautiful.
We went out to the lobby for the second intermission to find a place to spin. My daughter was in the mood to twirl, brought on by the captivating dancers and settings.
While we were in the lobby, a man asked a woman to marry him right in front of where we were standing. Victoria Morgan, the ballet CEO, saw it too as she was mingling with the crowd in the area.
She went over to the couple and congratulated them and gave them both a glass of wine. It was touching and a great example of understanding her audience. By being out with the crowd, she knew her audience and was there when something truly special happened.

What a wonderful way to spend Valentine's Day with two romantic performances. Both tear jerkers in lovely ways.
