History Fans Unite

It was a few weeks back on a Sunny Sunday when some metal detecting hobbiests knocked on the door.

They are part of one of two clubs in the area that like to metal detect near historic properties to see what historic artifacts they can find.

It seems Wayne, his son and friends prefer this activity over Sunday afternoon football. Looks like a fun father-son thing to do.

They shared their finds, this part of an old harmonica and a boot.

Plus, they found this Indian head coin. It was interesting and one of the joys of having a historic home is that it spurs conversations with others who enjoy history and old homes.
