What I (Didn't) Learn at the Jr. Police Academy
My son is going to a Junior Police Camp. It's really cool. They get to learn about things like bomb squads, bike patrols, K-9 dogs and more.
After his first day of camp, we asked how it went. "Great," he replied, "We learned about surveillance."
We probed further and asked what that meant.
"It's when you get to TASER people."
"Oh," we replied. "Are you sure, surveillance means you TASER people?"
He seemed a little uncertain. "Or you can shoot them," he added. Luckily it's a whole week of camp that he gets to get these concepts down.
