Once when my daughter was young, her preschool teacher praised her work saying, “How’d you get so smart?”

“My dad gave me brains,” she replied.

The teacher thought this funny and asked, “What did your mom give you?”

“Dresses,” my daughter replied.

At least I'll be remembered for something.
